DRIVING DIRECTIONS to DUNHAM PARK in BASKING RIDGE (This is where we will play again this year)

The general location is near the junction of I-287 and I-78, in northeast Somerset County near the Morris County border.

From Interstate 78

Take exit 33. If you're coming from the west,turn left at end of off ramp, and proceed to 5th light. From east, turn right, and go to 4th light.

This light will be Valley Road, County 512. It'll be the same road that Pleasant Valley Park is on, but you'll turn left instead of right.

This road will curve to the right, then come to an intersection with a small island in the center, with a flagpole, I think. An Amoco gas station will be on your left. Turn left here. BE CAREFUL at this intersection! It is blind, and people drive like idiots.

After about .7 miles, you'll see playground equipment on the left. Just past it is the park entrance, consisting of an entry and an exit lane on the left, but no sign. Drive to the far end of the lot, park, then walk past the flagpole to the field.

From Interstate 287:

If heading north, take first Mount Airy Road exit. Bear to right onto Mount Airy Road. If heading south, take Mount Airy Road exit. Stay to left on off ramp, turn left onto Mount Airy Road at end.

Proceed to first light. Turn right onto Lyons Road. Road will bend to the left, then come to an intersection with a small island in the center, with a flagpole, i think. A Sunoco gas station will be on your right. Turn right here. BE CAREFUL at this intersection! It is blind, and people drive like idiots.

Directions to Lucent, Murray Hill:

From NJ Turnpike or Garden State Parkway: Take I-78 West to Exit 43.  After exiting, go through one light and take a right at the next (Mountain Ave). Take a right at the first light (Ryder Ave) and park in the parking lot.

From points West: Take I-78 East to Exit 44.  Take a right at the bottom of the ramp, and then another right at the first light to go back over I-78.   Go until the you hit a T in the road and take a right.  Then take a right at the next light (Mountain Ave) and follow the directions above.

From AT&T Florham Park:  Go out the back entrance onto Ridgedale.  Make a right and then an  immediate left onto Central.  Take Central through Madison, following it until it ends at a T junction.  This is Shunpike, by the way.   In any case, make a right and then the very next left at the light.  There will be two gas stations there and small shopping mall.  Follow this street until it too ends at a T.  Make a right.  You're now on South Street (or a street that will soon become South Street, I forget).  Follow this street through the town until Mountain Ave (I believe this is the third light) and make a right. After the right, Lucent Bell Labs will be on your left.  You can't miss it.  Follow Mountain Ave past the first major entrance and make a left into the second.  There is a light at this entrance.  Go past the fields and park in the parking lot

 

 

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO PLEASANT VALLEY PARK

The general location is just northeast of the junction of I-287 and I-78, in northeast Somerset County near the Morris County border.

From Interstate 78 Westbound: Take exit 33. Make a RIGHT at the light at the end of the exit ramp onto Martinsville Road. At the 3rd or 4th light, make a RIGHT onto Valley Road (Route 512). Park entrance is about 7/10 mile down on your LEFT. Fields are located at the back of the park (follow road until it ends in a parking lot).

From Interstate 78 Eastbound: Take exit 33. Make a LEFT at the light at the end of the exit ramp onto Martinsville Road. At the 4th or 5th light, make a RIGHT onto Valley Road (Route 512). Park entrance is about 7/10 mile down on your LEFT. Fields are located at the back of the park (follow road until it ends in a parking lot).

From Interstate 287 Northbound: Take the Mount Airy Road/Liberty Corner exit. At the second light make a LEFT onto Valley Road (Route 512). Park entrance is about 7/10 mile down on your LEFT. Fields are located at the back of the park (follow road until it ends in a parking lot).

From Interstate 287 Southbound: Take the Mount Airy Road/Liberty Corner exit. At the light at the end of the exit ramp, make a LEFT onto Mount Airy Road. At the second light make a LEFT onto Valley Road (Route 512). Park entrance is about 7/10 mile down on your LEFT. Fields are located at the back of the park (follow road until it ends in a parking lot).

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO WHIPPANY PARK HIGH SCHOOL

The general location is just southeast of the junction of I-287 and Rt 10, in northeast  Morris County.

From Interstate 287: Take the exit for Rt 10 east. Make a RIGHT onto Whippany Rd (appx 2 miles).  Go about a mile and a half and Whippany Park High school will be on your LEFT.  You can park in the student lot, we play on the fields beside the high school.

 FROM ROUTE 78 WEST ( Newark / New York area)

Rt. 78 west to exit 36 (Cty Rt. 651, Basking Ridge) at top of ramp turn right onto King George Road northbound proceed straight to fifth traffic light and take right fork onto South Finley Avenue follow straight through two traffic lights turn right at first street beyond second light onto Collyer Lane

FROM ROUTE 78 EAST (Clinton/Pennsylvania area)
Rt. 78 east to exit 33 (Cty Rt. 525, Bernardsville/Martinsville) at top of ramp turn left onto Martinsville Road northbound proceed to sixth traffic light and turn right onto Lyons Road follow straight through first light continuing onto South Finley Avenue follow straight through two traffic lights turn right at first street beyond second light onto Collyer Lane

FROM 287 NORTH ( Somerville area)
Rt. 287 north to exit 26A (Cty Rt. 525 South, Mount Airy Road ).
The ramp is one way and will empty you onto Mount Airy Road (southbound). Proceed one block from the highway and turn onto first left, Lake Road. Keep going on Lake Road for about 2.7 miles until it ends. Turn left onto South Finley Avenue . Go straight for one block and take that right onto Collyer Lane . Take the first right into the driveway of Town Hall.

FROM 287 SOUTH ( Morristown area)
Rt. 287 south to exit 30A ( North Maple Avenue , Basking Ridge). The ramp is one way and will empty you into North Maple Avenue (southbound). Proceed straight for 2.5 miles and turn right onto Collyer Lane . Take the first left into the driveway of Town Hall.
