Mercer County Ultimate Disc League. A great summer league in the Princeton/Trenton area. Their season often starts much earlier than ours, usually around the second week of May.

The Philadelphia Area Disc Alliance (PADA) are cool ultimate people. They have a good league, but especially noteworthy are the hat tournaments they run several times a year.

There is also various pickup games around the area.  Here is a few that I know about:

PICKUP: MANY SKYLANDS PLAYERS PLAY PRE-SEASON PICKUP AT LUCENT MURRAY HILL. It is getting great turnout. The web site is http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MurrayHillUltimatePickup/ or contact Phil MacKenzie whose email is philmac@lucent.com. Directions at www.njultimate.org

PICKUP: THIS PICKUP IS FROM NOVEMBER TO APRIL ONLY: Buccleuch Park in New Brunswick, Saturday at noonish. It tends to be a high level of play, with a lot of club players. If there is a tournament, turnout may be low. This is the highest quality pickup play that I know of in NJ, (the last several years it has gone strong all through the winter). Again, this pickup will start again in November and is a strong scene with the hardcore NJ players.

PICKUP: The fun Brookdale Park people in Montclair (near parkway exit 151) are going Sundays at 2 and Wednesdays at 6 (frisbee time). http://groups.yahoo.com/group/thrashbadgers This is the base of the coed club team "Your Mom". Good people.

PICKUP: There is a mellow pickup game in Johnson Park near the town of Highland Park on Sundays, 2pm near the tennis courts and Friday at 5pm. There is a different group that plays Tuesday evenings at a different part of the park.

PICKUP: The Mercer league has started. See www.mcudl.org for info

PICKUP: The Paramus folks have a good pickup on Monday and Thursdays evenings at the northern entrance to Van Saun Park. Rumors abound that they start early April. Their web site is http://groups.yahoo.com/group/vansaun_ultimate/
